“The TKS Motorsports #2KS team and owners Troy and Tammy Renfro are pleased to announce Lebanon, Indiana's Chad Boespflug as their driver for the 2020 season. The team will compete weekly at Knoxville Raceway as well as other big shows in the Midwest, including Jackson Motorplex in Jackson Minnesota.
The TKS Motorsports team took their time in selecting a driver. "We sat down with our partners and decided that Chad was the best fit for our team and their needs," says Troy. "We are looking forward to adding him to our team. We are extremely happy we took our time making our decision."

What is the plunger in front of drivers' right?
Did anyone else hear in the background, someone say... "I got two arms left?" Honestly, this is a serious question, if you can believe it!! Between 4:47 - 4:52 you be the judge!! Dose he still have "two arms left" or what?
I don't think most eople realize that if you get t boned in a sprinter there's really no protection other than your nerf bars. Man it hurts to.

What was that knob you rotated at the beginning of the Just as you were being posted to the staging area?
U youngsters out there. Did u see him chk his belts and helmet then the most important he pulled on that steering wheel. Very very important to chk that and make sure it’s locked. Just ask Steve Park or google Steve’s wreck I think they were at the monster mile. But almost killed and never was the same after that wreck when the steering wheel come off!!

One of the greatest thrills of my life was getting to ride in the two seater 'Outlaw Experience' car several years ago. What freaked me out the most was how close we were to the wall at all times. The G forces were incredible.

I love this video screw all the haters if you don't like it don't watch it that simple! He's showing you what it's like as a driver to sit in a sprint car before hot laps I believe is what this is and how it can get nervous and all that plus I think it's an awesome angle of how he drives smh at people for not knowing this is a sprint car and people saying why drill your steering wheel that's how it comes its light weight. Great video I always come back to watch it plus ended up buying the same gloves cause of this video

glad yoj included the whole clip. you get to see the angst of a driver waiting to get on track (even for a veteran like Boespflug). triple checking everything he can get his hands on because waiting is the hardest part.

+WillieStroker? NoButiWillLetYourMom actually sprint cars have transmissions, they are just single speed and the ratio, if i remember correctly, is 1:1
+Keegan Lauster You are incorrect as Willie said they are direct drive drive shaft connect to back of the motor goes through the torque tube and into the rear end.
+Cody “SlideWayz” Downard thanks for the correction! after i started working on my bosses sprint car i realized what i said was wrong.
+Keegan Lauster depends some people call the box that engages the drive a transmission. I've heard a few times in the pits and was like what are you guys talking about.
They do not have steering settings to each wheel. The car basically constantly want to turn right at speed due to what is called "stagger" the right rear is bigger then the left rear circumference wise this makes the inside wheel make more rotations then the outside and is why the driver basically only steers left or a little less left but never right. They also only have one front brake which I believe is the left front if I remember correctly. This helps a driver using the bottom of the track stay there by making the car turn using the brake. Technically they do have a transmission it is just not a traditional transmission, it is basically just a box that either puts the car in neutral or engages the drive gear.

It's hard to get very excited looking at a steering wheel. Next time ask someone else to put the camera where you can see outside the car to give more perspective.
